Full Tilt Poker is one of the world's fastest growing sites. With a host of world famous pro players signed up to play at Full Tilt, such as Phil Ivey, Chris "Jesus" Ferguson, Mike Matusow, Eric Lindgren, Allen Cunningham, Howard Lederer, John Juanda, Andy Bloch, Eric Seidel and many many more, it is quickly becoming known as the site where the pros play. Full Tilt's interesting graphics make it a little different from the other sites around, and its extreme promotions help it to really stand out from the rest (for example Full Tilt are promising to double the WSOP main event first prize if the winner qualified on Full Tilt - that would mean adding roughly $10 million to the prize!) Graphics
The graphics on Full Tilt are undeniably unique. and may well be to some peoples liking. However others may find the garish colours and the cartoon avatars a little over the top - it looks more like a computer game than a poker game. Still. Full Tilt have thought ahead - and have designed a number of different background settings for the table - so there are some calmer backdrops for those more 'traditional' players.
Playability
Table
Full Tilt's software is pretty good. Game play is very easy. and there are some useful features like game play statistics and 'last hand' - showing exactly happened in the previous hand on a mock up table. You can also make notes on opponenets.
Lobby
Full Tilt's lobby is clearly laid out and easy to use. There are separate tabs for each different type of game. and statistics for the average pot. the view flop percentage. and the hands per hour are clearly displayed - giving you the chance to gain an insight into games before you join the tables.
Player Numbers
Ring
Although Full Tilt is a relatively new site it already has a large player base. thanks moistly to the high profile players it sponsors (like Phil Ivey). Most of the traffic is directed towards Hold'em games.
Tournament
Again. Full Tilt is already pulling huge numbers for tournament play. you'll rarely have to wait for a table to fill up here.
Game Variety
With Texas Hold'em. Omaha High. Omaha High/Low. 7 Card Stud. 7 Card Stud High/Low. and Razz Full Tilt has one of the best game varieties on the web. The solitary complaint would be a slight lack of short-handed tables. Otherwise it is excellent.
Rake
Full Tilt's rake is about the industry average. It is 5% up to a maximum of $1 on the $1/$2 tables and a maximum of $3 on the higher tables.
Special Tournaments
Full Tilt runs qualifiers for WSOP and WPT tournaments. has lots of freerolls and guaranteed pot tournaments. and various other special events.
