Graphics

Very Good. PokerRoom's graphics are some of the most pleasing on the web. The colours are rich and the design is classy. There are distinctive avatars (player figures) and together with the angled table view they help make the table look much as it does on TV. It certainly feels more real than the directly-above table shot used by most sites.

Lobby
The lobby on PokerRoom is one of the best. It is clearly laid out with separate tabs for different game types. making searching for games easy. Average pot. hands per hour. and players per flop stats are displayed for each table - although you must select the table to see these figures (a little advice. the easiest way to search is by clicking on a table and then using the up down cursor keys - that way you see the table info for each table as you scroll up and down). Under the toolbar in the statistics section are logged some of the most extensive game play stats of all the online poker rooms. presented both as a session summary and a total summary for your play. Not only are you given general figures for hands won/lost. but you can also see on what table and at what time. along with stats such as 'win/loss per hour'. 'average big bets per hand'. and percentages such as 'folded to a river bet'.

Player Numbers

Ring

Game Variety

Texas Hold'em. Omaha High. Omaha High/Low. Five Card Draw. Seven Card Stud. Seven Card Stud Hi Lo and head-to-head tables. This probably counts as an average selection. better than many. though not quite as good as some other sites which offer the less common poker games such as Pineapple.

Rake

PokerRoom's rake is the industry average - 5 percent up to a maximum of $3.

Special Tournaments

PokerRoom has a pretty good selection of special tournaments. although it lacks a flagship tournament of the magnitude of the PartyPoker Million or the PokerStars Caribbean tournament. However. with the Shark Cage beginners tournament. WPT qualifiers. a plethora of Guaranteed Pot tournaments and Free Rolls (min three free rolls per day). and the 'Become a Poker Pro' tournament - offering the chance to become a sponsored pro - worth $240.000. there is plenty to choose from.
