Pacific Poker boosts Sunday prize pool
Pacific Poker has added an extra incentive to play in its big Sunday tournament, by adding a whopping $25,000 of free money to the prize pool. That’s 50% more than in past weeks.
Pacific Poker has stepped up to the plate in the face of fierce competition from other poker sites, who all run their biggest tournaments on a Sunday, with PokerStars.com running a $1 million guaranteed pot tournament, and Full Tilt hosting a $300,000 guaranteed.
Since pulling out of the US market Pacific Poker has lost a number of players, but in some ways this has made the Sunday tournament easier, as there are less players competing for the money.
You can now qualify for the Sunday tournament through freerolls and satellites, as well as by paying the $65 buy-in.
