Aussie Millions main-event: 14 play down to 7
The penultimate day of the Aussie Millions was always bound to be the shortest day of the tournament so far with just seven elminations required before the final table was settled and play would end for the day.

19 year old internet prodigy Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke started the day as chip leader, and the watching crowd were keen to see if he could continue his rush from the previous day. He didn't disappoint, or perhaps he did, because there was a subtle feeling the crowd were hoping he'd be caught by one of the reamining pros, but Fricke continued his agressive play and sent a number of players to the rail.

Kristy Gazes was also playing well and took control of her table from the start, battling often and successfully with Sweden's Jonas Buskas. On the other table a decisive battle ensued between perhaps the worlds best known Scandinavian poker players, Gus Hansen and Patrik Antonius. Hansen had started the day second in the chip counts with Patrik Antonius just behind him, so when both players caught a massive piece of the flop a huge pot was unavoidable. It started when Hansen bet $500,000 on the As-Jh-9h flop. Antonius quickly moved all-in and Hansen almost beat him into the pot flipping over his J-J for a set of jacks. Antonius turned Ah-8h for top pair and a flush draw. The turn and river blanked out and one of the most dangerous players left in the tournament was walking to the rail as Hansen raked an enourmous pot.

Andy Black was also a busy man, busting out Curly Seal in 10th place and maintaining his third position in the chip counts. Play finally ended when Jakob Glassi busted out in 8th place, losing out to Gobboboy when the player nicknamed "Luckbox" came from behind once again to beat his opponent's pocket jacks with his A-T

But while he may be have been named "Luckbox" by the railbirds for his outrageous suck-outs the previous day, Jimmy "Gobboboy" Fricke proved that he was no flash in the pan as he confidently built his stack from $2.6 million to $5.175 million. He ended the day where he started, as chip leader.

The following seven players will return tomorrow for the final table:

Jimmy "Gobooboy" Fricke $5.175M
Gus Hansen $4.845M
Andrew Black $2.1M
Kristy Gazes $1.05M
Julius Colman $785K
Marc Karam $535K
Hans Martin Vogl $455K

The payouts for the final table are as follows:
1st : $1.5 million
2nd : $1 million
3rd : $700,000
4th : $500,000
5th : $400,000
