Ongame Poker Classic starts tomorrow
The first leg of the Ongame Network Poker Classic (ONPC) $5000 buy-in tournament starts tomorrow, with a $900,000 guaranteed prize pool.

The ONPC, which expects to have a prize pool well in excess of the guaranteed $900,000, starts tomorrow and plays down to 45 competitors before taking a four week hiatus.

After the break the remaining competitors will head to Barcelona where the tournament will resume live, with each player starting with the chip count he had four weeks previously. The Ongame Network, which counts PokerRoom.com among its members, will pay for flights, hotels and VIP treatment for the finalists, without taking money from the prize pool. They are also adding $100,000 to the $800,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Members of the Ongame network have been running satellites for the event for weeks now, starting as low as $1. There is still time to qualify, and for those who fail to do so you can always buy straight into the event for the full $5000.

Its not to late to sign-up to PokerRoom for your chance to qualify for the ONPC.
