Jamie Gold leads TCI Johnny Chan Invitational
In his first tournament since winning the 2006 World Series of Poker main-event Jamie Gold has picked up where he left off, driving into a chip lead in the Johnny Chan TCI Invitational with just a few days to go.

On the Caribbean island of Turks and Caicos Gold is clearly relishing his return to the poker tables, and enjoying a rest from his legal action with Bruce Leyser. Going into the second-to-last day of a tournament which featured such notable pros as Dave “Devilfish” Ulliot, David Williams, Jeff Madsen, Amir Vahedi, Carlos Mortensen and of course, the man himself Johnny Chan, Jamie Gold has proved his main-event win was no flash in the pan by storming to the top of the leaderboard with only 30 players remaining.

Watch this space to see if he can make it two wins out of two.
