Live poker on TV as FSN airs Full Tilt Showdown
Fox Sports Network, home of the immensely popular FSN High Stakes Poker show, is to air a live poker game this Thursday (6pm EST) as seven poker pros battle it out for a $1 million prize.
The Full Tilt Poker Showdown is a live ‘sit-n-go’ poker tournament featuring seven household poker names. $1 million is up for grabs, with $600,000 going to the winner, $280,000 to second place, and $120,000 for third.
But this is not a free event. Each player will stump up $120,000 of their own money to sit at the table. Phil Ivey, John Juanda, Erik Seidel, Mike Matusow, Erick Lindgren, Clonnie Gowan and Chris “Jesus” Ferguson were more than keen to do so.
Commentating on the live action will be Barry Tompkins and Michael Konik, while Howard Lederer will be on hand to provide expert analysis.
