WSOP Championship: Day Two A
Now we are into the business end. Well over half the field has already been eliminated, and whoever makes it through today will be tantalisingly close to the money. Official numbers have been announced for this year’s championship, with a total of 8773 players creating a prize pool of $82,512,162,873 and a top prize of $12 million. All to play for then.

WSOP Championship: Day One D
Finally we’re there. After four days of relentless action we have made it to Day Two of the 2006 World Series of Poker. Just over 3200 players remain from the near 9000 that started, and today the survivors from Day One A and B will battle it out for a place in Day Three.

WSOP Championship Event: Day One C
For some people playing in the World Series of Poker main-event is the fulfilment of dream. For others that dream was fulfilled some years ago and now the stakes have been raised a little higher. Winning is the new dream and nothing less will do.

2007 WSOP: Events 27 – 29
We have now passed the half way line in the 2007 World Series, and some of the more exciting events are fast approaching, such as the $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship and the $50,000 H.O.R.S.E Championship, which last year produced one of the highest quality final tables of all time. In the meantime however, there is still plenty of money and jewellery to be won.

2007 WSOP: Events 21 to 26
With 26 events now played the 2007 WSOP is almost at the half way stage. Although numbers have been slightly down on last year the Rio is still buzzing with thousands of poker players, and the overall feeling is definitely positive, especially for these lot:

2007 WSOP: Events #17 - #21
The WSOP continues to roll on, and as we get further into proceedings it seems the pro players are beginning to get their teeth stuck into the final tables.
